Tasting Note:May 28, 2018

Deep ruby red. Layered nose with dark cherries, pepper, floral, cinnamon and some clay. Solid tannins (7/10) and medium plus bodied. Very dry palate with an attack of blueberries and white pepper with a little bit of strawberries. Long and lingering finish.

First winery on our second day in Napa Valley is Reverie II Winery with Austin and Pedals as our hosts. Second red wine is their Tempranillo from the Red Rock Vineyard in El Dorado at an elevation of 2,654 feet. Aged in a touch of American oak too.
