Tasting Note:May 28, 2018

Medium to deep ruby red with lighter edges. Nice fragrant nose with red berries, spices, black cherries and cinnamon. A touch of floral notes too. Solid acidity with medium tannins (6/10) and medium to medium plus body. Dry palate with dark cherries, minerality and crushed spices. Medium plus to long finish.

First winery on our second day in Napa Valley is Reverie II Winery with Austin and Pedals as our hosts. First red wine is the Barbera bottling from the Red Rock Vineyard in El Dorado at an elevation of 2,654 feet.
