Second wine from the third table we visited at Zachy's Grand Opening in D.C.

Deep ruby red. Interesting nose to begin with some forest floor, a touch burnt, sweet spices and black fruits. A touch dusty on the palate, with lots of red cherries, spices and a touch dark too. Heavy tannins (7.5/10), and full bodied with a long finish.

Made up of 90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Petit Verdot, 3% Cabernet Franc and 2% Malbec. Aged for a total of 17 months in 72% new French oak barrels.

Drink Dates:

2019 till 2031.
