2014 Acre Zinfandel

Estate: Acre Wines

Region: Oakville, Napa Valley, California, United States of America

Tasting Note:May 8, 2017

Medium to deep garnet red. Definitely needed to open up on the nose, really benefited from an hour and even better on day 2. Notes of spices, anise, woody and slight caramel. Medium tannins (5.5/10) and medium bodied, beefed up with time. Jamminess on the palate with blueberries, some herbal notes, pepper, sweet spiciness and solid acidity. Medium plus finish.
