Tasting Note:May 31, 2018

Deep purplish red. Dark spices on the nose with some twigs, cinnamons, and dark raspberries. Medium tannins (7.5/10) and full bodied. Rich palate with blue and black berries, notes of cinnamon and spices. Long finish.

First of the red wines by Jack Winery. This is their Proprietary Red Blend made up of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, of which 50% Merlot is from their Atlas Peak Estate and 50% Cabernet Sauvignon from Diamond Mountain District. Aged for 22 months in French oak prior to bottling.
