2015 Becklyn Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon

Tasted side by side with the 15 Quivet NV and 15 Myriad NV.
Deep and dark purple. A bit mute to start on the nose but definitely filled with a cloud of dark fruits and dark spices. A touch of black raspberries poking through. Medium plus tannins (7.5/10) and full bodied. Rich and lush palate with cinnamon, brown sugar, black fruits and anise. Long and lingering finish. Lovely and will continue to purchase these.
Very interesting comparison with this bottling and between the 2015 Quivet Cabernet Sauvignon and the 2015 Myriad Cabernet Sauvignon. The Becklyn had more structure, backbone and finesse than the Quivet and Myriad. As well as not being as over the top and juicy like the Myriad and Quivet. Seems like it could last a little bit longer and needed a touch more time to open up. Made of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon and only 115 cases produced.
