Tasting Note:May 28, 2018

Third wine at the tasting bar. Medium to deep ruby. A bit jammy in the nose with some cocoa and spices. Smooth medium tannins (5.5/10) with a medium body. Fresh and dark on the palate with caramel, dark berries, bark, twigs and a bit spiced. Medium length finish.

Made up of 100% Zinfandel from the 1908 Block on the Luvisi Vineyard in Calistoga. Aged for 18 months in 25% new French oak.

2018 till 2023.
