Tasting Note:May 14, 2018

Deep purplish ruby red. Insanely dark nose with black tea, dark powdered cocoa, aniseed and some sanded cedar. Medium tannins (6.5/10) with a medium body. A bit spicy on the palate with cassis, silky cocoa and black floral notes. A touch of iron and jamminess in the medium plus finish.

Made up of 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 24% Cabernet Franc, 22% Petite Sirah and 9% Zinfandel from the Frediani Vineyard in Calistoga. Aged for a total of 21 months and 926 cases made.

2018 till 2024.
