2014 Maze Sauvignon Blanc
Tasting Note:August 27, 2017
Bright pale yellow. Layered nose with guava, apricot, freshly cut grass, stone fruits, peach and citrus zest undertones. Crisp and balanced acidity (7/10). Extremely fresh and complex palate with layers of white flowers, granny smith apples, citrus and very clean. Round medium plus bodied with a long finish. Very impressed but then I looked into the vineyard and it completely makes sense. Love the Blau Vineyard and great value at this price!
Made of 100% Sauvignon Blanc from the Blau Vineyard in Knights Valley. Aged and fermented in concrete eggs. Only 270 cases produced.
