Deep ruby core with garnet edges and fine sediment. Very tight on the nose, a touch dirty with dark berries and spices. Heavy tannins (8/10) and full body. Layered palate with black currants, creme de cassis, sweet spices, a touch chalky, and purple flowers. Rounded throughout and powerful with a long mineral finish.

This is some really serious juice by Aaron Pott, would love to try again. Made of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from St. Helena and Oakville. Only 250 cases produced.

Tasting Note:August 12, 2017

Wine number three out of seven for our blind tasting this weekend.

Deep purplish ruby red. A bit tight to start on the nose and a touch dirty. After a couple hours of breathing this opened up with a ton of dark cocoa and black cherries. Heavy woody tannins (8.5/10) and full bodied with an almost chalky or powdery texture. Layered palate with cinnamon, cassis and more black fruits. Long and lingering finish.
