Deep ruby red. A little bit of heat on the nose to start, as well as being a bit mute and soft. Finally opened up with some dark berries and purple floral notes. Medium acidity and tannins (6/10) with a medium plus body. Layered palate with a fruit attack, cinnamon, vanilla, dark raspberries, red currants, and dark cocoa. Long and dry finish.

Bordeaux heavy blend with 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot and a curve ball with 20% Syrah all from the Oakville AVA in Napa Valley.
