First of the two single vineyard bottlings at Classic Wines of Great Falls. Deep purplish ruby red. Layered nose with slate, dark raspberries, and dark cocoa. Moderate tannins (7/10) and full bodied. Stoney backbone with balanced acidity. Dark palate with spices, as well as baking spices and dark red berries. Lingering finish. This is a baby that needs some time to develop.
One of the fifteen single vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon bottlings made by Nickel & Nickel. This specific bottling is made up of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon and aged for 18 months in 57% new French oak barrels.
