2014 Chehalem Gamay Noir Ridgecrest Vineyard

Light and pale ruby red. Layered and interesting nose. Started off a bit musty (not tca) and dirty with a touch of earthiness, burnt or charred wood, a little metallic and a little vegetal. Even a touch of red berries. Moderate acidity (6/10) and light bodied. Tons of cherries with a vegetal touch in the medium finish. Needed a bit of time to open up.
Only 220 cases produced.
