2006 Château Hosanna

Garnet core with bricking on the edges. Lots of earthy notes and anise on the nose. Well integrated palate with moderate tannins (7/10) and medium plus bodied. Soft plums on the attack with anise. Not as dry as expected. Long and lingering finish.
Since this wine estate is from the Right Bank of Bordeaux it is not classified in the Official Classification of 1855. This Bordeaux blend is made up of 80% Merlot, and 20% Cabernet Franc.
