Tasting Note:November 23, 2017

Perfect bottle of domestic bubbly to start of our Thanksgiving festivities. Bright pale yellow with moderate liveliness. Notes of yeast, lemon meyer, and some granny smith apples on the nose. High acidity (7/10) but balanced with tons of citrus notes as well as tree fruits, especially green apples. A nice biscuity undertone as well. Light plus to medium bodied with a pinch of stones in the long finish. Lovely bottle and would love to try more wines from Frank Family!

Made up of 100% Chardonnay from the Carneros region in Napa Valley and made using the Méthod Champenoise technique. This is when the secondary fermentation occurs within the bottle. Additionally, this bottling is aged for three years on the lees prior to disgorgement.
