2014 Vineyard 36 Cabernet Sauvignon Thirty Six

Tasting Note:November 19, 2017

Deep purplish ruby red. Tons of gunpowder, graphite, and black cherries on the nose. Heavy tannins (7.5/10) and full bodied with a little heat in the long finish. Lots of black cherries, almost a black cherry liqueur, on the palate with vanilla and cinnamon. Some pencil shavings underneath as well. Very young with acidity and too much cherry coming through. Needs a year or two to integrate.

Made up of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from vineyards in St. Helena and COombsville. Aged for 24 months in 50% new French oak.

2018 till 2028.
