Tasting Note:September 28, 2017

Just grabbed from the Great Falls Wine Outlet and decided to coravin a bit. Deep garnet with a touch of ruby. Layered nose with tons of dark cherries, purple flower petals, roses and earthiness. Solid acidity and medium tannins (5/10). Light plus to medium bodied and layered with strawberries, cherries and lavender. Dry with a medium plus finish. Would be nice to see how it develops with some air and age.

Only one barrel made of this limited production bottling by Chris Berg at Roots Wine Co. Made up of 100% Grenache and aged for 40 months in French oak.

2017 till 2021.
