Medium purplish red. Delicate nose with lavender, white pepper and rhubarb. Even a touch smokey with air. Solid acidity and a bit tangy. Medium tannins (5.5/10) and medium bodied. Layered palate with strawberries, burnt cherries, mint, spices, and a bit funky. Medium plus finish with crushed gravel throughout.

Made up of 99% Syrah (30% whole cluster pressed) and 1% Viognier from the Fenaughty Vineyard in El Dorado at an elevation of 2800 feet. Aged for 16 months in used French oak barrels. Only 155 cases produced.
