Medium brick red. Slightly stinky, earthy and dried red cherries nose. Moderate plus tannins (7.5/10) and very drying. Great acidity that makes your mouth water. Earthy and a bit of tobacco on the palate too with a bit of green notes too. Super long and lingering finish. This needs time.

Gattera is a single vineyard planted in the early 1950s. Made of 100% Nebbiolo and aged in 40% new French oak for 24 months.
