Tasting Note:July 22, 2016

Similar in color to the 2014 CF. Some black cherries and an almost woody and smokey undertone. Moderate tannins (7/10) with dark cherries and soft baking spices on the palate. Medium bodied with a little perfumey notes. A little harsh and needs some time to round out and fill out the body a little more. Long finish with a few blackberry notes.
