Crimson red with high intensity core. Nose started off with some cinnamon, slight smokiness, cherry kirsch and a little greenery. A little heat too. More fruit than the Jon Nathaniel on the palate. Some warm baking spices and dark cherries leading to a slightly dry moderate finish. Moderate tannins (6.5/10) and moderate body.

Made of 100% Merlot from multiple estate vineyards in St. Helena, Rutherford and Napa Valley. Aged for 16 months in small new and used French oak barrels. 6,000 cases produced.
