2012 Caldwell Petit Verdot

Dark ruby red with a purplish core. Very tight nose, with some black fruits and floral notes. Super dark fruits on the palate. Heavily extracted with heavy tannins (8.5/10) and full bodied. Semi-dry and long finish.
All the fruit comes from the Caldwell Estate Vineyard. Made of 100% Petit Verdot Clone 400 and aged for 21 months in 100% new French oak. Only 69 cases produced and 15.6% alcohol.
