2015 Celler Xavier Clua Terra Alta Il lusió

Second wine at Oakton this afternoon and first white. Clear and pale yellow. Refreshing nose with white floral notes, some roses, a ton of citrus and stone fruit undertones. Lemon and lime on the tip. Moderate acidity (5.5/10) and light plus body. Very well balanced. Addition of a little minerailty such as wet stones. Moderate plus dry finish.
Always been a fan of Grenache Blanc and these Spanish wines are no exception. Made of 100% Garnatxa Blanca. Macerated for about 4 - 6 hours prior to fermenting in stainless steel for four months with frequent battonage (stirring by hand) of the lees.
