2016 Spell Estate Pinot Noir Nichole's Blend

Tasting Note:May 25, 2018

Medium to deep ruby red. Lots of floral notes on the nose followed by with vanilla cream, strawberries, raspberries and some white pepper. Well balanced acidity (6.5/10) and tannins with a medium body. Similar ending on the palate as the nose with raspberries, vanilla, flowers and pepper. Medium to medium plus finish.


Second stop in Sonoma with Andrew Berge of Spell Estate, La Pitchoune and Tiny House to name a few. Next is the Nichole’s Blend which is aged in 40% new French oak. Fruit comes from five vineyards in Sonoma County. Only 388 cases produced.
