2017 Gottfried Mocke Wine Projects Cape Winemakers Guild Pinot Noir

Estate: Gottfried Mocke Wine Projects

Region: Overberg, Cape South Coast, Western Cape, South Africa

Tasting Note:September 28, 2018

Medium ruby red with garnet edges. Layered nose with an attack of leather, followed up by dark cherries and fresh twigs. Medium acidity (6/10) and well integrated with a medium body. Rich palate with complex layers of dark berries, spices, gravel and touch of twigs. Well refined and seems to have some good aging potential. Long finish.
