2008 Château Pavie Macquin

Estate: Château Pavie Macquin
Region: St. Émilion, Libournais, Bordeaux, France

Tasting Note:February 17, 2017

First of the red. Dark ruby and garnet red. Layered nose with earthy notes, truffles, mushrooms, roses and burnt red cherries. A touch of greenery too. Moderate tannins (6.5/10) and full bodied. Palate has a mix of earthy and tons of red cherry layers. Dry and long finish. Quite a few years left in this.
