Dark crimson red with an opaque core. Layered nose with dark fruit forward attack on the nose that rounded out with some soft earthiness, brambleberries, dark cherries, herbs, and more savory undertones. Moderate tannins (6/10) and medium plus bodied. A touch of heat on day one that mellowed out with air. Balanced acidity with dark cherries, raspberries, and tight brambleberries. Long finish and definitely needs some air.
