2012 Galerie Latro Cabernet Sauvignon
Deep and dark ruby red. Layered nose with spices, herbal notes and dark red berries. Heavy tannins (7/10) and medium plus bodied. A bit tight on the palate with dark berries, spices and crushed gravel. Still a baby and needs some time. Dry and long finish.
Made of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon and then aged for 19 months in 55% new French oak.

$$ - Purchased from the Oakton Wine Shop for around $55.00.Coravinned a quick tasting. Deep and dark ruby red. Layered nose with dark cocoa, purple floral notes and dark cherries. Medium plus tannins (6.5/10) and medium plus bodied. Dark raspberries on the palate with some lighter sweet spices and tons of crushed gravel. Dry and long finish.

$$ - Purchased from the Oakton Wine Shop for around $55.00.Bright ruby red. Started off with dark cocoa, and baking spices on the nose. Opened up with dark cherries and light pencil shavings. Moderate tannins (7/10) and full bodied. Lots of cassis and dark raspberries. A little dry with a little lead. Great structure and lingering finish. Glad we have a few more in the cellar.
