2013 Mullineux Chenin Blanc Straw Wine

Deep straw yellow almost medium caramel. Thick caramel on the nose. Needs to be between room and fridge temperature before it opens up. Thick honeysuckles and white floral notes on the palate. Molasses like texture, syrupy and delicious. Full bodied with a medium plus finish. So smooth.


Made of 100% Chenin Blanc from two different areas in Swartland. The youngest vines are 35 years old. Aged for 12 months in old 225L French oak barrels.
